Never - and I mean NEVER - interrupt a zombie when they've started eating. It may seem cold but whoever is lying there is done for. Best case, they die a horrible, horrible death and you get away. But, if you distract that zombie from his meal you run the risk of not only becoming dessert but you may have just created another zombie. If I were you, I 'd just back out slowly and close the door .
